How big is the site?
United Properties has assembled an eight-acre site for redevelopment at the south-east corner of Penn Avenue South and American Boulevard in Bloomington.

What is included?
The first phase of redevelopment will commence in 2010 and will be a mixed-use project including:

• 234 apartment units

• 14,000 square feet of retail and restaurants
• new access roads from American Boulevard and Penn Avenue, including new signalized intersection
• surface and on-street parking

Who will the new tenants be?
The retail space will likely be occupied by a variety of shops and restaurants geared to the daily needs of the local community. We will announce specific tenants as they make commitments.  

What is the schedule?
Ground breaking is scheduled for late-spring 2011 with the project opening in spring 2012..
