The Penn & American vision will bring a people-friendly community hub to the Bloomington area. Current plans call for exciting amenities and features:

  • Develop a district approach that leverages existing investments and creates a flexible master plan framework
  • Create a grid of streets and blocks to allow for improved access, internal circulation, and public spaces
  • Introduce a mix of market-driven land uses including retail, office, mixed-ownership and mixed-income housing, and entertainment and civic buildings
  • Ensure great architecture and well-crafted buildings that frame and activate a high-quality public realm
  • Design landscaped streets, bounded parking areas, plazas and parks
  • Design for walkability
  • Multimodal transportation options - car, bus, bike, walking, shuttle, light rail, air

Potential
Penn & American will improve the places that people use every day by incorporating green space and public spaces. Walkable streets will allow the community to better satisfy multiple needs in one beautiful district.
